Henno: Laverde had donuts, Colyer was poo (again!!), T-Bell rewound the clock to Courtney Johns in the "looks like Tarzan plays like Jane" stakes, but none of them really come close to what you would call costing us the game. That honour HAS to go to Hooker. Now, we all pissed ourselves when Josh Bruce missed the unmissable from the square in Tassie - admit it! We all cringe whenever Chook has a set shot dead in front from anywhere outside the goal square. But FFS - he wasn't even 1 meter out!!!!!! Then you can add in the usual missed set shot from 15 right in front, dropping marks (that he NEVER does), and it was pretty much the complete game costing performance. Too harsh? Too bad!! You gonna ruffle a 12 year-olds hair, you HAVE to back it up the following week. Otherwise you give us nothing to defend you with to the great unwashed!
Apologies to about another 10 who may have been more worthy had 26 not been so obviously bad. The Solution has to be winning the "I told you so" battle regarding the AA defender.....
I still firmly believe there are naked Woosha photos sitting in Travie's wallet. Otherwise, PLEASE explain how he continues to get a game? Perhaps he's the new Leroy Jetta - keeps getting picked because the selectors forget he's there? Can't be doing much for his own confidence. It's sure doing nothing for mine!!
Hird: Even with his own head shaking moments, MoJo has to be Hird. 6.4 amongst the rest of the rabble is outstanding. I don't see that anyone else deserves it, outside maybe Darcy.
And although I copped my fair share on Twitter yesterday for this view - the umps had no part tp play. We managed it all on our lonesome this time!
